  HORRIBLE MANAGER.... ERIKA !!! WE HAD TO DEAL WITH HER A FEW TIMES, AND EVERYTIME SHE COULD CARE LESS OF OUR NEEDS. OTHER CUSTOMERS TODAY CONFIRMED THE SAME FEELINGS, AND 1 CUSTOMER NOTED SHE HAD A HORRIBLE LOOK ON HER FACE, e.g. "SHE LOOKS MISERABLE!!!" WHETHER IT WAS MAKING COPIES, OR NEEDING HELP WITH AN AMAZON RETURN, SHE WAS RUDE, ABRUPT AND PLAINLY SAID "SHE CAN'T HELP ME!!! WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER, SHE SAID "I'M THE MANAGER!!..... I WAS TOTALLY FLABBERGASTED!! HAVING OWNED 2 BUISNESSES, THIS IS NO WAY TO SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER!! STAPLES, YOU NEED TO BETTER TRAIN YOUR MANAGER HERE OR REPLACE HER.... THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER COPY/PRINT/RETURN STORES..... SHE RUINED MY WHOLE MORNING !!!!

  This review is not about associates or inventory availability. It's about the condition of the store. For a corporate owned store (I assume not a franchise), this location is in horrible disrepair. Dirty floors, old gum never removed, walls needing painting with drywall exposed from removed signs that were installed with an adhesive, etc. Doesn't the Staples model have an interior refresh schedule?

  I'm giving 2 stars only because the rest of the staff at this Staples location is professional, helpful, and efficient. They deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, there's one employee who single-handedly ruins the customer experience. The Problem: Older male employee with grey hair who works the UPS/Amazon returns desk (usually sitting). If you encounter him, prepare yourself. This employee treats customers like they're personally inconveniencing him by showing up. His attitude is condescending, unwelcoming, and borderline hostile. He gives off serious "I hate that you exist" energy while simultaneously saying things that sound positive - it's unsettling and confusing. Simple questions like "are we done with the scanning?" are met with eye rolls and dismissive behavior. Here's what's frustrating: Every other employee at this location is kind, professional, and makes returns/shipping easy. They ask if you need a receipt, explain what they're doing, and treat you like a valued customer. This guy acts like you're interrupting his personal time. I've watched multiple customers leave this store in a worse mood than when they arrived - all because of this one person. Neighbors have mentioned the same experience. I reported this to Staples Corporate and they basically told me they don't care. They dismissed it as "feedback" and did nothing. This shows how little they actually value customer experience when it comes down to it. To Management: This employee is damaging your store's reputation and dragging down an otherwise excellent team. Either retrain him on basic customer service or move him to a non-customer-facing role. Your other staff deserves better than having their hard work overshadowed by one person's terrible attitude. To Customers: If you can, try to come when someone else is working returns. You'll have a much better experience.
