  The middle aged ~50 gentleman working the UPS / Amazon drop off area was a rockstar. He was extremely busy, and was able to help me navigate all my mess ups (improper packaging, wrong drop off location, etc.) He never complained, and was super helpful and accommodating to all of my screw ups. After initially realizing that I had set the delivery to go from a USP store in Ocean View, I had mentally checked out and given up. He went above and beyond in his job to help me out. Rockstar

  I'm giving 2 stars only because the rest of the staff at this Staples location is professional, helpful, and efficient. They deserve 5 stars. Unfortunately, there's one employee who single-handedly ruins the customer experience. The Problem: Older male employee with grey hair who works the UPS/Amazon returns desk (usually sitting). If you encounter him, prepare yourself. This employee treats customers like they're personally inconveniencing him by showing up. His attitude is condescending, unwelcoming, and borderline hostile. He gives off serious "I hate that you exist" energy while simultaneously saying things that sound positive - it's unsettling and confusing. Simple questions like "are we done with the scanning?" are met with eye rolls and dismissive behavior. Here's what's frustrating: Every other employee at this location is kind, professional, and makes returns/shipping easy. They ask if you need a receipt, explain what they're doing, and treat you like a valued customer. This guy acts like you're interrupting his personal time. I've watched multiple customers leave this store in a worse mood than when they arrived - all because of this one person. Neighbors have mentioned the same experience. I reported this to Staples Corporate and they basically told me they don't care. They dismissed it as "feedback" and did nothing. This shows how little they actually value customer experience when it comes down to it. To Management: This employee is damaging your store's reputation and dragging down an otherwise excellent team. Either retrain him on basic customer service or move him to a non-customer-facing role. Your other staff deserves better than having their hard work overshadowed by one person's terrible attitude. To Customers: If you can, try to come when someone else is working returns. You'll have a much better experience.

  Today I needed a 12 page document laminated and spiral bound for use at work. Brittany was very helpful and exceeded my expectations. Kudos to this attentive and detailed oriented employee. Management should use her good work as a example for others to follow Thanks again.
