- NGNia GriffinJul 2, 20251.0Never attempted to deliver the package. Just left the reliever note. The website wouldn’t allow the redelivery because the package was never brought back to the post office. I called in to get the redelivery within 15 mins of the leaving the slip. I have email confirmation that a reattempt should have been made. The next day no delivery attempt. I have cameras all over my house. I sat at my door wide open and garage WIDE open bc i knew that this was intentional. After two days and no sign of the post man just a slip im genuinely pissed. (no they didn’t have the package in their hand when they came to my door) i know the exact person who is causing this issue. I encourage every other person who has a problem to take it to the highest level. This operation thinks we’re stupid and that it’s funny to play with our money and packages. Been here a few years and this is consistent with this operation. The post masters will not take control so your best bet is to go above them and talk to our town/county people until real change is made.

I typically use the Hughesville office and have done so daily for the last 4 years. In those 4 years, I have never had any poor handling that resulted in me losing money. On two occasions now due to my schedule I've had to use the La Plata office and both times, they damaged my package and the contents and it resulted in me receiving negative comments on eBay and losing money. I have over 1,000 transactions and feedback on eBay and the only 2 negatives that I have are from when I have used this office. It's completely ridiculous that people are paid to do a job and then when they are terrible at it that they are able to continue that job. With how fickle people are these days, this particular office has literally robbed me and my family of a few thousand dollars in sales they damaged and in potential sales from others. Please I beg you, stay away from using this office. I will never use this office again.
