Your packages will sit, sit and sit without even being scanned. I drive all the way to white hall post office. They always scan before you leave. Hampstead post office is horrible. Don’t understand it.

Had a package say it was delivered went out of my way from work to go grab which is a 10 minute drive. Looked around and it wasn’t there asked the people at the front and they said it was delivered to my neighbors house asked neighbors they didn’t have it. Tried to call the post office again asking where it was and they weren’t even picking up the phone to answer.

If I could put a zero star I would or even a negative star, this post office is the absolute worst for customer service or politeness. This is the 2nd time I've come in after receiving notice through my USPS app that a package of mine has arrived at the post office. I am not always home so sometimes I'll go in to pick a package up that has arrived there so the next day it isn't sitting outside all day in the heat getting damaged and both times I've come in the woman at the black woman at the front counter has had the worst attitude and has made up excuses about my package being in this place or that place just so she doesn't have to go get it for me. Each time that's happened I have had proof that it has ARRIVED at the post office and how long it's been sitting at the post office and for her to take my notepad that I write the tracking number down on and pretty much throw it at me in such an ignorant Manor is unreal. Last time I checked woman this is your "JOB" to handle mail and if it's that much of a problem for you to handle you shouldn't work at the post office dealing with customers. I've seen many reviews about the same woman and have even had other people tell me how ignorant she is to other people. I demand someone who is above her in the post office to take control of this situation and reprimand her for this manor cuz this is unreal and very unacceptable and I gotta go home thinking in the back of my head that this woman could possibly damage my mail from now on and some of the stuff I order are very expensive.

Apparently doing their job on a Saturday is to much for this staff. The smug look on their face when they tell you they aren't going to do their job doesn't help warm you too them either. They are extremely unhelpful. A fellow customer had to suggest to me that I try the library to apply for my children's passports. The postal worker just wanted to argue with me that whoever I spoke to was wrong. I did my due diligence. I called this office and was told I didn't need any appointment and that they did do passports on Saturday. I had all the paperwork filled out, a check for each application, cash for the post office fee, passport photos of my children and all the items they needed photocopied I had the copies already done. But it must be to hard for them to look over everything, staple some items and mail them off. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go to the library to apply for a passport. They do them on Saturday without an appointment up until 3p. They also sell stamps. This is way more convenient for working parents.
