The man at the desk was a bit short with me. When the service survey came up on the console, he reached over and clicked the happy face on his own….

Robert (the old white man) is rude & unhelpful. If he hates his job please fire him or he needs to quit.. Taking his old frustration out on customers asking question is not the way to go. He was rude to everyone that was in line waiting to get serviced.

Robert needs to be fired. He’s an old white man who’s blading and was rude for no reason, He had an attitude the whole time for no reason when asking for a tracking number I showed him an email and he acted as if he couldn’t read.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I received “No Access to Delivery Location” notifications from USPS for two consecutive days. Since this was urgent, I went to the post office right when it opened at 9:00 AM to try to resolve it and pick up my package. The clerk, Robert, confirmed that the carrier had already taken my package out again. When I tried to explain that the exact same situation happened yesterday — and that I still did not receive my package despite the delivery attempt notification — he interrupted me before I could even finish my sentence. He repeatedly said, in a very rude and impatient tone, “The carrier has taken it. There is nothing I can do.” Over and over again. I asked whether someone could contact the carrier or at least give me an estimated delivery time so I could wait nearby. I was not demanding miracles — just basic assistance or guidance. Instead, I was met with repetition and dismissal. When I asked when the manager would arrive, I was told 11:00 AM. I stepped aside to wait, and then was told to move away because the camera could see me and people would question why I wasn’t being served. The irony is — I was NOT being served at all. Later, the carrier supervisor, Frederick Robinson, spoke to me. Unfortunately, he provided no solution either. He repeated the same line: the carrier is out, you need to wait. When I tried to show him the delivery failure notification on my phone, he refused to even look at it. When I asked what happens if I get the same failure notification again today, I was told to call the 1-800 USPS number to complain. I asked for his name, and he pronounced every single word loudly and deliberately, as if he wasn’t concerned in the slightest about being reported. All I want is a solution to my case, or even any advice if they do not manage these matters directly — I totally understand. But they chose the worst solution and attitude to deal with their customers. I can’t believe these people even exist on earth!! I had issues with my package, so I went to the local post office where the package was sent from and asked for help. What’s wrong with this logic? This is 2026. There is no excuse for this level of customer service.

We visited this Greenbelt USPS location after not receiving mail for two consecutive days, including an urgent emergency letter. Unfortunately, our experience at the counter was very disappointing. When we asked for assistance, the clerk (Robert) repeatedly said, “The carrier is gone. There is nothing I can do,” without offering any explanation or alternative solution. We understand there may be limitations, but the lack of willingness to listen or help made us feel dismissed and disrespected. We hope this location can improve its customer service and communication.
