Verizon’s return instructions clearly stated that the return only required scanning the serial number on the box. I explained this at the counter, but the associate, Allie, insisted that an MD order number was required and initially would not attempt to scan the box. To avoid further delay, I called Verizon customer service while standing at the counter. Due to long wait times, this took over 40 minutes. Verizon confirmed over the phone the same information that was provided in the email, that only the serial number was required. I passed this information back to Allie, who reluctantly attempted to scan the box. At that point, the manager, Atoosa, stepped in to assist, and the serial number was scanned successfully. This entire situation could have been resolved in minutes if the associate had simply followed the provided instructions or attempted the scan earlier. Instead, I lost nearly 45 minutes of my time. I rarely leave Google reviews, but this experience was frustrating and unnecessary. Thank you Atoosa for your help, this lady was nice and apologized too.
