- LCLeigh Coto2 days ago1.0This post office is dirty! The counters and the floors are disgusting. The women that work here are rude. I get eye rolls and huffing every time I go in this place. Today the employee charged me $72 for a simple box of books to be sent to CA. This place needs a makeover.

Yes it was close to closing but she wouldn’t let me finish my labels and kept distracting me, reminding me it was close to closing. She had an attitude the whole time and only straighten her attitude as the room filled up at the last minute. Even then, I’ve mailed out a lot of things and I’ve never had someone yell out my address with such aggression before or been treated that way. Honestly should not be working on a base as I will not be using the base post office again. Went to the one in Jessup and had no issues. Thank you for ruining my day.

I initially went into this location to get a price check on shipping a flat rate medium box with a restricted signature confirmation. I asked the African American woman if she would help me. She gave me immense attitude but quoted me $26.90 after I clarified with her that it would be sent and only the persons name who was in the box could sign for it. She said yes. So I stepped aside so that I could tell the person trying to get the baby clothes could agree to the price. Fast forward to the person confirming price was ok I stepped back into line, filled out the shipping information and got back into line. By the time I got up an Indian woman with a thick accent called to provide service to me. I explained to her that I had already spoken about shipping with the other woman and would like the agreed upon shipping to which I showed her the picture I had taken of the keypad when the original woman rang me up for the quote. The Indian woman then range me up and it was over $35.! When I questioned her she raised her voice to almost a yelling level and got an attitude with me saying that’s what I asked for. I again showed her the picture on my phone and told her no this is what I was asking for. She still yelling at me and wanting to argue changed the shipping service on the computer to ring up the correct service and price. I had to tell her it was clearly a miscommunication and to please calm down. Multiple other service member were also standing there and one agreed with me that she was the probable and extremely hostile with me. This is the first time I’ve ever shipped anything and was super confused and just needed someone to be kind and help me out not scream and argue at me. This is unacceptable service to ANYONE.
