    I recently visited a UPS location for a last-minute shipment to send to my family. The shipment included three expensive devices valued at almost $3000. A kind employee assisted me in preparing the package and addressing it. However, we received a notification stating that the address was not found and that the package would be returned to the original UPS office. When I arrived to seek clarification, I encountered a tall gentleman who intervened while I was trying to speak with the employee who assisted me. Although he informed me that the package could arrive later that day, I had already received a confirmation indicating that it was delivered, which raised my concerns. I asked for clarification about the discrepancy, and unfortunately, his response was less than helpful. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, he mentioned that it wasn’t his issue or the employee's, and suggested that I should take it up with management. I believe it would have been more constructive if he had acknowledged the concern and suggested that the delivery issue could be resolved amicably. A simple request for me to return later would have sufficed, and I would have appreciated a more courteous tone. My sister, who paid for the shipment, ended up having to pick up the package, and there seemed to be some misunderstanding about the confirmation process between her and the employee. Overall, we were just hoping to gain a better understanding of what went wrong and to address our concerns without placing blame. Unfortunately, we did not receive any compensation for the inconvenience we faced. This experience was quite disappointing, and I would encourage UPS to improve customer communication, especially when issues arise. It would be helpful for customers to feel more supported in situations like this, as it greatly impacts their overall experience.
