This is hands down the worst USPS branch I’ve dealt with. The attitude of the employees makes every visit feel like an inconvenience to them — as if customers are a burden rather than the reason the office exists. Basic questions are met with eye rolls, impatience, or flat-out rudeness. Packages are frequently lost or mishandled, which only adds to the frustration. At this point, I actively drive out of my way to a different USPS location just to avoid this one — and that says everything. What’s especially disappointing is that this location used to be good. About 10 years ago, it was reliable and pleasant. Now? I dread going here more than a dentist appointment. No exaggeration. If you have another branch within driving distance, do yourself a favor and go there instead. This location desperately needs accountability, better training, and a serious reset in customer service.

I used the kiosk to get sheets of Christmas stamps like I have in the past but it started printing 100generic stamps individually. I went to the person inside and told them what was happening and they immediately said I did something wrong. I asked for help and no one came out. I waited in line after waiting a while for all the stamps to print to ask why no one came out and they said there is nothing they can do to help me and I had to keep those stamps and couldn’t exchange for Christmas stamps. The manager came out annoyed at me because I interrupted her lunch break. It is whatever but just mean and rude people there.

50/50 experience every time. Sometimes the clerks are nice, sometimes they aren’t.

My abingdon post office made a mistake and forwarded a package I was returning to some random persons address in bel air. So I called the bel air post office to find out what happened and Deborah who works there helped me figure out what exactly happened and was trying to work out a solution and keep me updated. Thankfully the person it was delivered to dropped it off to my address personally since it was on the original label. However in this time Deborah was still checking in with me giving me status updates and working with her Bel Air carriers to try to fix the mistake. The bel air branch and Deborah was very professional and understanding (the package had a lot of value). After trying to work with the abingdon post office I was blown away with how terrible that experience was and bel air was the complete opposite. I hope someone high up at the usps reads this because Deb really went above and beyond and was looking out for me in the crazy situation and I truly appreciate that.
