  The last two times I was at the Aberdeen, MD store was a terrible experience. I still have not received an email about the return of two pairs of shoes which I took there on Sunday, March 22nd. It is now Wednesday, the 25th and I’ve heard nothing. Both pairs were in their original store box and shipped together in a large Amazon box. I had two codes, each one stated the name of the shoe. The UPS employee asked me repeatedly, which one was first. I had no idea what she was talking about. I showed her each code again with the name of the shoe on it. I then showed her the name of each shoe as was stated on the box. She asked me again which one was first. This is the second time I had to work with her. The first time, she ripped open my package to check the contents. This is extremely disappointing. Up until recently, my experience at this store has always been positive with the employee being extremely helpful. I now dread going there.

  The store was empty. I walked up to the counter and I was told very curtly that he would call me up when he was ready for me. He was quite rude!

  Yes, this is a convenient location for folks. The biggest issues that this has is staff. That’s the number one issue. I understand that packages need to be packed properly. The problem is that when they have a line that wraps to the door, out the door and around the store. The staff is too busy to help, it makes it worse. One person at the counter and the line doesn’t move any faster than when you have 2-3 people working at the counter. Truth be told, people go on their lunch breaks because it’s easier for them to handle business that way. This store knows this, but they don’t do anything about it. It’s very frustrating. The next issue is the knowledge of staff. If I’m bringing a pre-paid box that’s taped up and ready to go. Do not tell me it needs additional packaging. I refuse to pay for that and to be told by staff that I need to slow down when I’m telling you that it’s paid for. That’s not customer service. Have more experience and look at the line, see why people are trying to get in and get out. That alone got under my skin. And when I need to email something, I’m just pointed to a sign. Have the common courtesy to say it. It’s those little things that make the difference. Lastly, the pricing for packaging. I feel the rates are high. It’s not UPS making the charges. It’s the store front. Yes, you as a business need to make a profit. But what about those on a fixed income. Just need to do better. This is why I print my own labels because it’s too expensive to have the store do everything.
