When I stepped out I couldn’t find the package. He had tucked in under a dry ledge to right of my house, as my front steps aren’t covered. I appreciate the effort to keep it dry.

Mail and packages, properly labeled, with tracking, shouldn't just "go missing" from the USPS, never to be seen again. If you can use another branch, I'd recommend that you do just that.
