I had driven over two hours to get there after speaking with USPS customer support, who suggested that the package might be at this post office. The issue began because the sender accidentally used the wrong ZIP code, something I wasn’t aware of initially because I had only been told that the USPS receipt showed a different destination. When I arrived, the front desk staff were polite and did their best to help search for the package, which I appreciated. After some time, they suggested that I speak with the manager since he might be able to assist further. Unfortunately, my interaction with the manager was very unpleasant. He was dismissive from the start and told me to simply leave my name and number so they could call me the next day if the package turned up. I explained that I had driven over two hours and was willing to wait if there was a chance it could be located that day. After waiting about 45 minutes, the manager returned and became extremely confrontational, raising his voice and accusing me of lying about the package being there. I remained calm and explained that I was only going off the information USPS customer support had provided. Despite that, I was told I was wasting his time and asked to leave. Overall, the situation was very frustrating and disappointing. While the front desk staff were helpful and courteous, the interaction with the manager was unprofessional and made an already stressful situation much worse. Unfortunately, judging from other reviews of this location, it appears that issues like this have been raised before without improvement. If others experience similar problems, I recommend contacting the USPS customer support line so the situation can be properly documented and addressed.
