In subsequent weeks received notices that while two of the packages were in fact scanned at the facility they never were scanned subsequently. Contacted general USPS number to open claim, never contacted by local office, only a standard customer service rep who said that it looks like both packages were lost and because I had no incremental insurance nothing could be done.
