  I think this place hires thieves…my package never left the store. I called the ups 1800 number and they said a driver never received my package. Someone at the store must have stole my $1,000 item.

  Title: "Keep it or throw it away." "Keep it or throw it away." This was the response from the UPS Swampscott staff when a woman called to report that my lost package had been delivered to her by mistake. I shipped three boxes of hand-blown glass art from this location, but only two reached me. The store mistakenly placed two different shipping labels on the same box, causing it to be sent to a senior center in Florida. While the store gave me repeated assurances that a claim would be filed, I later discovered that no claim was ever actually initiated or expedited. It is incredible that at the same period I was being told the situation was being handled, an employee was advising the woman who called to report the error to simply discard my property. I only recovered my art because the recipient took the initiative to track me down herself. This store showed zero accountability and a callous indifference toward my property. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

  My recent visit to the UPS location in Swampscott was completely unacceptable. The staff spoke to me in a rude and disrespectful manner, raised their voices at me without justification, and even threatened to call the police on me during a routine interaction. This behavior is unprofessional, inappropriate, and entirely out of line for any customer service establishment. No customer should be treated this way. I strongly urge management to address this conduct immediately and ensure that staff are trained to handle situations respectfully and professionally.

  When arriving I observed a male yelling at an older woman. He was upset because she parked and left her hazards on where she shouldn’t have. She moved immediately. HE WAS STILL SCREAMING. I’m standing in line waiting to be dealt with and I said to the other employee there’s no need for him to speak to a woman like that. The male who was screaming walked in an said he’s the manager and since I have an opinion I can leave the store and proceeded to call the cops and tell the man behind the counter NOT to serve me. I have it all on video and the male still took my package. If it’s not delivered I will most definitely obtain a lawyer 😈 😀 it’s all on video !! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN AND IM SURE EVERYONE IN THE LINE WONT EITHER. HE WAS ON A POWER TRIP SCREAMING HE IS A MANAGER AND HE CAN DO AS HE WANTS. This happened on NOVEMBER 13,2025 @ 4:38pm to be exact.
