- SMS MayFeb 7, 20261.0Went in to pick up mail today for a snow delay and pleasantly said good morning to the woman opening the door who in turn said to me loudly and rudely “ Get away from door “ But then the best happens when I get in and the same woman working then says “ You don’t know the night we just had !” Or something to that verbiage. But this time screaming at me . I assume there are cameras with audio , at least I hope so . I can only imagine how she treats her coworkers. This is Sterling , people love it here mostly for its peaceful friendly nature and country vibe . Thankfully a very nice woman named Jackie took over for Nadine and Jackie helped me with no screaming fits and I was able to make it out safely .

The people there work so hard, handling the occasional long lines so proficiently, all the while being polite and making sure that someone who is in the line gets to hand them what they came for. They seem to know EVERYONE who comes in by name. I always leave with a smile on my face because of the evident camaraderie. I have lived in Sterling for 39 years and have never had a negative experience there.
