The gentleman who helped me did all that he was supposed to, but he also commented on my entire life ... that my husband is a lot older than me, about where I live (and how he might stop by), about where I was born, etc., etc. It made me feel really uncomfortable. Oh, the first thing he did was comment on my photo. "Where is your smile?" It is unnecessary for him to comment on every part of my application and my life. He should just confirm the information and be done with it. You can be friendly without being intrusive. One note that the other postal clerk, Colleen, was top notch and seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. It was just the passport process that was uncomfortable.
