- JCJen CMar 22, 20261.0I was told I could not send cash in a birthday card included in a package I was sending out and they had me take everything out to remove the cash. However, after further research, it is absolutely legal to send cash via mail. I’m not sure where they got their information but the man there was so certain despite the fact that the lady who was helping me had no idea about that “law”. He even said you can’t send checks via mail. Which appears to be completely wrong.
