- NYNadezhda Yordanova2 days ago1.0Today I was very disappointed with the service I received from Jay at the post office. I was there with my 2-year-old son to mail important documents to the Town Hall. I wanted to included a self-addressed prepaid envelope inside so the processed documents could be returned to me. Unfortunately, Jay made two mistakes. He put the wrong stamps on my envelope and then ripped one of my envelopes while handling it. These were important documents, and he handled them roughly, almost bending or damaging them. What upset me most was his attitude. He rolled his eyes, used inappropriate language (including the F-word) while my child was present, and was generally rude. I remained calm and respectful the entire time, even when the mistakes were made. I understand that mistakes happen — that wasn’t the issue. The lack of professionalism and respect was. The whole interaction took about 20 minutes and left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Customers deserve courteous and careful service, especially when mailing documents!! You should quit hour job Jay! Misery is not a good place to be!
