Came here seeing the high reviews, but as a first-time post office user, an older woman working there expected me to know everything despite knowing we were clueless. If doubts were asked, I was given the eye-roll attitude. Second time, I thought maybe I should give them another chance. An older, white customer around their age was there. The postal workers were white as well. They all seemed to be laughing and joyful until they saw me. I thought she was being professional, so that's why the sudden mood change. I kid you not, her smile turned into a depressed reaction just from seeing me. Ignoring this, I smiled and kindly asked for guidance, unsure of what to do. I told her what I wanted to send, and she literally gave me a blank stare. Then, pressured by the silence, I asked, "Can you tell me how I would go about that?" Then, with the most depressing attitude, she pointed it out. Made me feel absolutely horrible. I guess they need more exposure to diversity and learning to be nice to all customers equally. Not laughing and giggling with their own kind alone and being angry toward another race.
- ARAngie RiggApr 29, 20195.0I had an incredibly important package lost in the postal system for a good period of time. I sent the package from Texas to North Chelmsford. Somehow it was coded wrong & sent back to Texas then from there it made lots of stops all except for the right one. Tbe 800 number was a nightmare, they were rude and not helpful. If this package was completely lost I would have been out a whole lot of money. Eventually the post master from North Chelmsford, Deanna White, got involved. She was extremely polite & courteous & followed through everything she said she would. Within a few days she tracked my package and coordinated with facilities as far as Texas to get it were it was supposed to go!! We are so very grateful for her❤❤❤ I had spent many ,many hours on the phone with other agents & went into a few different post offices with no resolution in sight. She clearly is not only very professional but is extremely proficient in her job!! Thanks so very much❤
