- SSSam5 days ago1.0Worst postal office. Staff is extremely rude. We schedule a passport appointment, were there on time, made a little mistake on the form, we asked for an extra copy, the lady said that they didn’t have any printers working and that there were no forms printed, we asked if we could print the form ourselves and come back, old lady was really rude told us that she didn’t have time wait and that we had to make another appointment for another day. Postal office with no printers and no passport forms?
- DHDeanna HarnerDec 26, 20251.0I went in to mail packages and the man did not smile, gave one word answers and told me I had to hand write labels on all the boxes. I left and went to another location, and had a completely different experience, bonus… they printed the labels for me! I understand working for govt can be frustrating, but if you choose to stay working for them, do your job, do it with courtesy and respect…and add a smile to make your day go better.

Prior to that they were having a conversation perpetuating stereotypes about folks who live in Marblehead. I’ve never experienced this here. Guess I should stick to going during the week and skip Saturday.

The gentleman I spoke to was extremely courteous and helpful, and advised someone would follow up with me on Monday. On Monday I received a follow-up call and voicemail, as well as a follow-up call on Tuesday to resolve the issue. I was extremely impressed with how quickly I was contacted, and how thorough the follow up was. I wish I had gotten names to give some shout outs - with the holidays and COVID, it’s important to recognize great customer service, and Marblehead Post Office delivered!
