They act like it's never snowed in Boston before like it's ridiculous we have to find a new way maybe we should get robots because this isn't working terrible terrible terrible service!!!!

I’m not upset that the people working there don’t know the rules, but when I have the instructions for the form printed from the State Department website and they refuse to look at it or accept that they are wrong, that’s very frustrating. I brought my 16 year old for his first 10 year passport. According to the State Department website his expired 5 year passport is sufficient proof of ID for his application. Instead they told me they also needed his birth certificate (not supported anywhere on the state dept website or the instructions of the form I was submitting), and talked to me like I was an idiot for thinking the US Department of State would know their own rules better than somebody working in the post office. Absolute waste of time and condescending, dismissive attitude without any apparent ability to read or listen to simple information. Walking in circles in the park talking to birds would be about as good a use of your time as coming here.
