It is for Lynnfield locals and is really a part time post office. It is very inconvenient and off the beaten path. I always use the other one right off of Route 1 in Lynnfield but it was closed while the new Fire Station was under construction so I took the trek to this one which is 4+ miles off of Rt 1. The employee was very nice and she was not the problem. When you pull up the 3 spots on the street were taken so I pulled into the back parking lot and the sign read Postal Employees Only. So I pulled out and went to the parking lot across the street and their sign read Police Vehicles Only. The long and short is that there is no parking accept for the 3 spots on the street that were taken and I had to drive back up the street and turn around to access a spot. Either way I would have giving this place 1 star if it wasn't for the employee being so nice. I am sure knowing now the parking situation that it would not be that frustrating if I went back but I never will.

Edit: I let my unstable ex husband use my account to bash the post office last year. I don’t have a problem with this office in the least. ‘Amid the crisis, no mask to be had on the worker, even with signs posted a person must need one to enter. When I mentioned lack of mask, I was told it’s 6 feet and there’s a small glass partition, or the mail man can get my stuff. From this essential worker’s viewpoint, I’m pretty appalled at such a response when everywhere else I have gone (and where I personally work) implements the same distance lines, same plastic covering and still manage to wear a mask for an entire shift. You think the postal service would join to try and help ease everyone’s mind by having all their workers wearing masks. Think again’

I'll start off by saying the normal woman who works the desk is great. The current woman "Sally" is terrible. She mishandles packages tossing them and trying to shove them through a slot but then she also goes out to the loading dock and smokes right next to the door with all the mail. She is rude and mean and after speaking with other residents they have had the same encounters.

Don't be fooled by the posted hours, they close for AN HOUR every day for lunch, so don't bother coming by between Noon and 1pm. Edit: looks like they have updated their hours. Thanks. One more star for you.
