As a lifelong islander, I have attended the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School and Oak Bluff School. On June 20th, I purchased an item from an individual who claimed to be the manager on the phone. Despite my providing my tracking number and invoice, the individual denied receiving the package and stated that security reasons prevented the inclusion of my name on the package. I have since contacted the post office multiple times, but the issue remains unresolved. While I understand the importance of security measures, I believe that the tracking number should be matched with the package’s information. Furthermore, the individual’s lack of professionalism and inability to handle the situation effectively was unacceptable. I am concerned that such behavior may reflect poorly on the entire post office and discourage potential employees.
