- ESEllen Smith3 days ago1.0If you don’t have a mailbox or a PO Box don’t have anything shipped by USPS to Eastham The package will be sent back to wherever it came from pronto. I went to the post office, told them two packages were coming that day and to please hold them. I asked if I should come back later that day she said she’d call me. They took my phone number and tracking numbers they said they’d hold them. I didn’t get a call. The next day I went back to the post office after receiving a notice they were in process to be sent back. I gave them my tracking numbers and asked for my packages. I was able to retrieve one package. The other package was sent back. I was made to feel like I was a major inconvenience to her. Why offer to hold a package and call if there is no intention to do so. This is not an huge post office so it shouldn’t have been a problem. Also, they open at 9:00. It was 9:15 with 4 people in line before they opened the doors. I would not recommend using this post office. Rumor has it they enjoy sending packages back. From my experience it’s true.
