- KKKAug 14, 20251.0Every single time I get a package that requires a signature, the carrier(s) from Clinton USPS leave a slip saying no one was available to sign, WHILE I WAS THERE. I have a Ring camera so I watched the recording every time - they did not bother to knock or ring the doorbell. They didn’t even have the package in hand, and just stuck the slip on the door! One time they didn’t even bother coming down the street. I saw them just put the slip in the mailbox at the end of the street, and left! The slip also had no pickup info on it. One time, when this happened, I had to go twice to pick up the package because the first time, they said it would be in the mail truck all day even though a few days had passed, and the slip gave that exact date for pickup. I complained to their supervisor, but he just tried to gaslight me and said, “He says he knocked.” I even offered the video footage, and he didn’t care and didn’t believe me. And then it happened again! I’ve heard sometimes they do this to cut down on time on their route, so I wouldn’t be surprised if the supervisor enables them to do this.
