- KBKriz BeeMar 18, 20265.0I have had a PO Box here since the late 90s. Awesome little hometown post office. The lowest prices around (no, "Federal" does not mean they all charge the same. I moved my box here from the Attleboro PO, which is just 2 miles down the road). Chelsea, the current Postmaster, is the kindest, friendliest, most helpful person you'll ever meet. She has helped me every time my shipments were delayed (one package went from Springfield to Providence, then BACK to Springfield 🤬... from Providence, it should have come to Chartley. Obviously no fault of Chelsea's/Chartley's). Even the customers are pleasant. If you need anything at a post office, I suggest you make Chartley Post Office YOUR place! Please note that the service window is closed for lunch noon-1pm, though you can still enter and check your box for mail. They do have a handicap ramp, and stairs to the front door.
- MXM XMar 11, 20261.0I mailed wedding invitations at this post office. The clerk was aware I was mailing wedding invitations and she hand canceled the invitations in front of me. I also had a non machinable stamp on each invitation. The invitations still went through the machine. It had markings on the bottom of the envelope and was slightly damaged from the machine. Likely the clerk placed the invitations in the incorrect bin. She should have placed them in a non machinable bin so that they would be handled correctly at the distribution center. The post office wasn’t busy. I was the only one there. Very disappointed that something as simple as placing envelopes in the correct bin was overlooked by this clerk. I guess I should have made sure she completed this step correctly.

Parking is usually very easy for me to find and the lines are usually very short. If I have any questions about anything, they are always answered, and I appreciate the efficiency of this post office. Thank you for all you do.
