    We had a horrible experience. Should not even be one star. They lied to us and told us they couldn’t take our 130 pound box because it exceeded the max limit. We called FedEx after and were told that the limit was 150 and went to another location who was super helpful. The people at the counter were extremely unhelpful and disingenuous. It was a huge inconvenience for us. Clearly they just didn’t feel like dealing with it. Very angry.

Tony is the epitome of what I seek in exceptional human beings that create awe, joy, and life-long memories of Custumer service excellence. Specifically, this what what Tony did, and I look forward to Tony having the opportunity to share what makes him such an incredible team member. A personalized welcome Tony was assisting a Custumer at the desk, and immediately upon entry, Tony greeted me warmly, stating that he looks forward to assisting me. This approach already set the tone that I will be taken care of 2. Empathy and Listening I shared with Tony that my sisters autistic son left his iPad at a hotel while my family visited me. Tony took the time to say he will find the best and fastest way to send the iPad back to my sisters family. I install felt at ease knowing someone would provide assistance in the best way. 3. Probing and Identifying the best solution Tony took the time to listen to every need, and to strategically select the best solution for the issue. He began by measuring the iPad and went through several boxes to find the right size. Tony was patience and never made me feel that I was a burden. 4. Probing Deeper Tony discovered that there were several options available, and asked what was my preference, speed of delivery or price. When I told him my budget, Tony did not instantly provide the most expensive option, but the option that was right for me. He could of easily stated “Since you have 100.00 lets ship it overnight”. What Tony did was suggest different solutions, all tailored to the need of speed and price. This is something that I am not used to at a FedEX. 5. Genuine Care I can tell Tony enjoyed the work he did based on his demeanor, his smile, his patience and tone of voice. He never communicated negative body language. He took the time to get to know about me and helped my wife at the same time to use the printer. He also identified the best option, and provided them to us so that we can feel ownership in our choice. When I heard the music on the speakers, I asked if he knew that song and he smiles and said “Of course its one of my favorites (Metallica - One). I mentioned that I only knew the song because its the final song in Guitar Hero 3 and he laughed as hard as I did. Tony’s presence inpacted the other customers in the store. I was so impressed I started rooting for him in the store “Tony, Tony Tony” and so did all of the other employees and customers. If there is anything I’ve learned in the 20 years of L&D, specifically in team member development, is that people like Tony do not exist in the world without being recognize. Being a genuine 5-Star employeee takes a lot of effort, contribution, trust, motivation. We must ensure Tony continue to feel he is values so that he may return the favor by creating brand loyalty as he did today. I will not drive our of my way just to go to this store, just to be helped by Tony. A returning Custumer indeed, but an unforgettable experience lived in my mind and should forever. Thank you Tony, Thank you for your spirit and dedication to strangers who need to send packages. Thank you for being selfless, and thank you for being…You.

    There is always a line because they are understaffed and I witnessed a manager yell at a customer who had filled out his form incorrectly. He said, "you are in America now and everything needs to be in English". He proceeded to turn and speak Spanish to another customer. His overt need to be racist to someone who was East Asian was terrible and his hypocrisy was horrible.
