I came in at 8 am this morning and I had a frustrating experience at this FedEx location. The self-serve printers weren’t working, so I asked the staff member for help. She told me she was busy with another job and I’d have to wait 20 minutes if I wanted help, which I was totally fine with. When I came back to ask if she could cancel the job or if she was ready to help me up front, she said I had been “hanging out back there too long” and then responded with, “How would I know? I don’t know how to fix it” when I explained the printers weren’t working. The tone came across as very dismissive when I was just trying to get help. I wish the interaction had been more respectful and supportive, it made the whole process and my morning much more stressful than it needed to be.

6:10pm on a Friday and FedEx was already closed. They’re supposed to be opened until 7pm.

Unfortunately, I had a negative experience with an employee at this location. I had come in to drop off a package and had already printed out my label using the self-service station. However, when I went to the front desk to ask if I could borrow the tape gun to tape up my package before leaving it in the dropbox, the employee at the front repeatedly accused me of trying to cut the line, not even allowing me to explain what I wanted. It was particularly confusing because he kept calling me "ma'am" and appeared to be speaking to someone behind me, which I now realize must have been due to poor eyesight. I obviously don't fault him for any misunderstanding due to his disability, and I also understand that he was trying to make sure all the customers in the store were being treated fairly. But I also think he was needlessly rude, and that he made the whole situation much less pleasant for everyone than was necessary. Fortunately another customer had some packing tape that she was kind enough to lend me. So I was able to tape up my box and leave it in the dropbox without having to interact with the employee any further. Based on this experience, I don't plan to return to this location in the future. As an aside, I had stopped at the UPS Store on Comm Ave to pick up a package right before coming here and found the customer service there to be excellent.
