I live 5 minutes down the street and they are constantly late with packages, send packages to other post offices then have to wait days for them to be brought back. They need to reopen the Allston post office since this location clearly can not handle the extra work. It's been awful dealing with this location since they closed the Allston branch. Just this morning they received the package I'm waiting for then sent it to Milton. Now I have to continue waiting while it sits in a post office 15 miles away, when it was already at the post office a quarter mile from me. USPS charges way to much for this horrible service. USPS should refund shipping costs to the customer when they mess up deliveries like this

They told me I needed to buy tape to stamp the shipping label on the package even though they have tape on the desk to use for their own convenience. I was very surprised since I have gone to other usps location and they have taped a pice of paper on the package in order to complete the transaction, just as a step of service with their customers. I was told that their boss doesn’t allow them to share tape and that as customers we need to bring our own or buy one. Very unnecessary for a mail office company.
