The government site tells you, you need birth certificate copies (you do not need these). You do not need SS card either. Save yourself time and aggravation. Let them do everything for you. Following the government process is wrong. The website is wrong. Man at front desk here is not helpful, doesn’t listen, doesn’t care. He’s been here for a long time and he is not understanding or helpful

It’s now February 18th and the package is still nowhere in sight - just listed as Out for Delivery still. I went to my local post office in Fenway and the wonderful clerk informed me that both packages are still being checked in and out of the same post office hub at Fort Point. She even tried to reach several staff members there and could not get anyone to answer the phone. This is now my third package within a month to get lost or delayed here. The phone rings and cuts to busy dial tone so you can never speak with anyone for assistance. It’s truly ridiculous that it would take over a week to receive a package from just over the river in Cambridge, and shows the height of dysfunction and incompetence at this location.
