- SLSam LFeb 19, 20261.0Extremely disappointing experience at this UPS Store . I attempted to pick up Comcast equipment for my handicapped senior mother who physically cannot travel. I brought both my valid government-issued ID and my mother’s ID. The store manager personally refused to release the package and repeatedly stated that my mother had to be physically present — no exceptions. While I understand the importance of security policies, businesses also have a responsibility to provide reasonable accommodations for elderly and disabled individuals. There was no empathy, no flexibility, and no effort to offer any alternative solution. When a manager is unwilling to consider the circumstances of a disabled senior, it raises serious concerns about how accessibility and accommodation are handled at this location. I hope corporate reviews this incident and clarifies the third-party pickup policy, especially as it relates to seniors and individuals with disabilities.
