  Long wait time, and more importantly the guy behind the counter is rude. I drive longer distances just to avoid this miserable place.

  I normally wouldn't do this...and actually haven't done it before so here goes. For a myriad of reasons laid out by hundreds of other customers, this UPS store is an abysmal experience from start to finish. I am writing this in hopes that the owner of the store actually loses it and/or somehow UPS steps in to investigate these claims. I have gone into this store 8 times in the last 6 months. EACH time I have experienced the same employee, likely the gentleman everyone else has struggled with. Each time I visited I experienced the same unacceptable behavior. The man smashes the keyboard, yells at customers, sighs in your face, disappears into the back BETWEEN EVERY TRANSACTION, even when with the same customer and my favorite...he listens to loud, offensive and sonically the most awful sounding music I have ever heard. What's crazy is I like heavy metal music, I grew up on it...and what this guy blasts is awful and most importantly, NOT acceptable for a customer facing business. In the end, I hope these reviews push UPS to look at what is happening to their franchise here because it's really giving most customers the worst possible experience. When I found out Staples shipped UPS, I started going there. The manager there told me she gets many complaints about this store from customers. This might be the worst retail experience you can have in Western MA

  It's amazing this place still employs that one guy who seems to be behind the counter every time I need to drop something off. Most visits usually go the same way, obnoxiously slow with the employee being visibly disgruntled and rude to cystomers. Today, I heard him refer to the six people in line as "dipshits" from the back room. Now to get on a call with Amazon because he couldn't even scan my return in right.

  Absolutely terrible experience at the UPS Store on University Drive in Amherst. I had to wait over 15 minutes just to return a simple package, and the employee working there was extremely unprofessional. After taking a return from one customer, he disappeared to the back and stayed there while multiple people were left waiting with no explanation. It felt like he was just wasting time instead of doing his job. On top of that, his attitude was awful. The way he talks to customers is rude and aggressive—it honestly feels like he’s arguing with you instead of helping. There’s no basic customer service, no respect, and no professionalism at all. This is completely unacceptable for a business like this. If you value your time and don’t want to be treated poorly, avoid this location.
