- KKKNov 26, 20251.0This post office consistently feels deliberately slow, almost as if the staff are dragging their feet on purpose. It creates a strange dynamic — an exaggerated slowness that feels like a way of exerting control over the situation, as if they have some kind of power over the customers waiting in line. The attitude is poor, and the employees seem openly irritated to even be there. During my last visit, the male employee checking me out quickly pressed the satisfaction button on the keypad for me (giving the best rating), as if trying to sneak it, but I noticed. When I asked why, he said it was to “speed up the transaction,” yet he had just taken an unusually long time slowly showing me stamp options while the line was out the door. This location already has one of the worst reputations in the Mandeville area, and this visit made it easy to see why. I will drive to Madisonville next time. I’ll also say that, based on my experiences and what locals openly discuss, it’s hard to understand how some of the glowing reviews line up with what people actually encounter here. This branch truly needs stronger leadership and a real commitment to customer service.
