- ASAmy SoileauSep 9, 20201.0After getting "attempted delivery, but..." messages repeatedly for multiple packages, we had to have the manager of the post office come to our house to verify there was nothing obstructing delivery and that we didn't not have a dog. The manager found out that the delivery person was attempting to steal our packages. They still send the "attempted delivery, but..." messages especially on Sundays. Then I have to spend my time and gas to go to the office to speak to the same manager about getting my mail and packages. I don't know what can be done about the total incompetence and fraud rampant in the USPS. It's beyond frustrating. What a waste of tax payer money. I have ZERO confidence in our government run postal system.
