I am writing this only as a PSA. Do not go here for passports. The lady Belinda who does them is terrible. Go to the bluebonnet location instead where they are amazing, just trying to save you a trip!

The people who work here could have the easiest job in the world and still cause problems.
Both ladies who work in the front have rude attitudes and demeanors. They tell you that you are wrong and don’t explain how to fix it, just expect you to know!
Multiple experiences like this. But I don’t expect anything to change.

The government does a great job and hires exceptional individuals who always have a great attitude. Speedy service with a smile. The self serve kiosk is never down everyday for some reason. The lines always move quick and it’s clear everyone values your time as there is never any time wasted mindlessly chatting with each other. The best time to go is after 5pm because that’s when the cash drawer is counted and you will never be completely ignored for 15 minutes while the one remaining person counts down the money. Thanks you David Steiner 76th Postmaster General and thank you Benjamin Franklin.

If you are looking to get a passport, my advice would be to go somewhere else. The lady who is in charge of passports here was so unkind, so unhelpful. It was like she had a chip on her shoulder with my name on it before a word was spoken. I was expecting someone to guide me as to exactly what to do, but she just hastily circled 2 addresses on the form I brought in and sent me away. Didn’t even tell me to include payment in the envelope, but thankfully I had enough sense to know I needed to do that. No explanation as to how much to send. When I asked what to make the check out to, she barely looked up from what she was doing and said gruffly, “It’s on the form,” as if I was stupid. Of course I’d already looked for that information on the form. I had to Google it myself to get the answer. Frankly, I will be shocked if I actually get a passport in the mail.
