Like someone else said, all the good USPS Baker employees retired long ago. MOST of the new crop are bad to horrible with one exception - our some-of-the-time, usual delivery lady. She is sweet, personable and usually delivers accurately and on-time. I guess it won't be long before she quits, is fired or transfers to another P.O... S M H at this situation - I guess they feel like their government jobs are secure.

There has yet to be a time that I have had a good experience with the post office located in Baker, on several occasions I have had to call headquarters and report several employees and still there has been no change in the quality of service. The post office is horrible on numerous occasions packages that I have tracked that show they made it to the post office have never made it to my home, or they lie and say they tried to deliver and that no one was home and someone was there the entire time and never seen the mail truck even pass down the street. When you call they are rude and defensive and I have been told by postal people who answer the phone that I am the one lying or that fed-ex is lying even though the computer says they delivered it to them. If there was a way to receive mail without having to go through the postal service I would surely use it, it makes no sense that they would have no pride in their job and take offense in having to deliver people their mail.
