- HJHarold JacksonFeb 18, 20261.0I don't know if this means that the mailbox here for 30 years is now insufficient or the box I have to receive packages is. One mail carrier said she could not deliver packages because she could not turn around on our driveway. We put a box by our mailbox. Every other delivery driver uses it. I am really confused & have no idea what our newest mail Carrier is trying to say. Could someone help me out? I remember when they walked and delivered through all weather. Now they won't deliver mail for whatever this is. It appears it may be my mailbox. According to USPS regulations, standard curbside mailboxes must be installed 41 to 45 inches from the road surface to the bottom of the box, with a setback of 6 to 8 inches from the front face of the curb. The box must be constructed of sturdy, waterproof materials and bear a house number or box number in 1-inch minimum high letters. USPS USPS +4 I hope an inspector can come out and instruct me so I don't get it wrong after all these years. Seems quite petty to me.

Also I live in an apartment, I would really like to know where my driveway is so I can start parking my cars there 🤷
