  My driveway is clear!!!!! Why are my packages being left on the ground. Starting to get annoyed

  Taylorsville, KY USPS has Very Limited hours of operation! No self serve small package bin (see attached photo) to put small packages in for afterhours. I have a small home business and end up having to drive all the way to J-town or Hikes Point just to drop off my large envelopes and small packages in the evening or at night! My mail carrier also said she does not have room in her van to pick up my packages; so I cannot request home pickup, like I have in all of the other cities I have lived. Other USPS locations are getting the thousands of packages that I ship each year and getting credit for what the Taylorsville USPS should be receiving! My mail carrier often leaves my packages at my garage and they get wet when it rains...I even have a sign at the garage saying to deliver it to my Front door. When she does put any packages on the porch, it is at the very EDGE of my porch where rain can hit them and it also makes them easier for theft... instead of simply putting them by the front door. Most are very small and weigh very little. So this is just laziness and not caring! It is Very Frustrating when we have to make a 30-45 minute round-trip just to pick up a relatively small package at the post office. Almost everyone of these could have been easily delivered to our home..often smaller Amazon packages. By the time a normal work day is done, ya'll are closed and only open for a couple of hours on Sat. Ridiculous!!! Residents need for this location to update their offerings, hire folks who care about providing Good service and who are Physically Capable of doing the job right. They get paid way too much to not care! This USPS Needs to Better Serve the hardworking citizens of this area the way we deserve to be served!!!

  If I can give a zero star I will, they are useless. The mail is NEVER delivered. The staff are not helpful AT ALL. Supervisor can’t do nothing.

  If you need to go into the actual post office for anything it's quite pleasant and the clerk I saw was super nice. But I'm not grading this office on niceness, because niceness doesn't get my mail delivered properly. Ever since I moved out here my neighbor's are consistently given my packages. Today and yesterday the inevitable happened, I didn't get my packages at all. On a 50 minute call wait with USPS right now trying to find out what happened to my items. Both a phone and a case scheduled a day apart for delivery were marked as delivered online, yet my post box is empty. And they weren't sitting on the neighbor's step like usual. I'm forty-two years old and have lived all over the country. These people are the worst. If you move to Taylorsville, just get a PO box and be done with it. Save yourself from the lack of attention and accuracy and also maintain a bit of your privacy. Zero stars if I could. Livid...
