She helped me figure out the most economical way to ship and was happy to do so. I’ve been in there probably 4 times over the past 6 months and have always encountered staff that exemplified competence and kindness. I’m grateful to have such nice folks in our community.

Item was placed in the recipients streetside mailbox like ordinary letters. Another time a piece with a check in it, sent to same address, ended up at the Electric Company in Detroit,Michigan. Fortunately those folks sent the check back to me.
- MBMichael BAug 9, 20211.0Unless you have a prepaid box , the shipping rates at this PO are like playing a slot machine. Shipped a package last week for $38. This week, shipped another of the same item, in the same box , to a place about a hundred miles difference & the charge was $77. Once home , I ran the numbers through the USPS postage calculator & the website claims the charge should be $49. Thats a little off from 77. Out of the 2 people that run the register , one always seems to have a rate that is significantly & consistently higher than what the other brings up on the computer. Instead of gambling on how much they feel like charging on any given day , go the extra miles to Fisherville.
- SAStephanie AlveyJun 28, 20161.0Put a hold on my mail for vacation, both at the office and with the mail carrier. Told them to deliver all mail the following Monday after return from vacation. We got home on Sunday to a mailbox FULL of mail. All the post master did was apologize and offered to speak with carrier about paying more attention to these cards and dates. Not the first problem I have had out of this post office.
