The story of CG Bank began in 1972 with the opening of the River Drive location in Irvine, KY. 1992 saw an expansion of operations into Richmond, KY. A business and shopping destination, Richmond was a natural choice to help service the needs of the bank’s current clients, as well as extend the same level of excellent service to a new market. 2006 brought the opportunity to expand into to London, KY. A loan office was opened there and then in July of 2008, that office was converted into a full-service branch. 2008 also saw the opening of a branch to continue to service Madison County, only this time in downtown Berea. Our latest expansion came to completion at the beginning of July 2020. After years of planning and research, CG opened a new bank in Powell County. Our Stanton, KY. location will service the very active communities of not only Stanton but Clay City and the surrounding Red River Gorge area.
