I've been in this post office several times now. You are always greeted with a friendly face and they genuinely seem to care about your experience and your packages. Always a great experience.

They will not deliver any Amazon package that will not fit in a mailbox. It took nearly a year before I figured out that I can request that Amazon avoid using USPS if possible through my Amazon account. All you have to do is write a note under delivery instructions stating that USPS either refuses to deliver or loses your packages, and Amazon will use other methods of delivery instead. I highly recommend doing this as I have not had a package declared "undeliverable" since then. In addition to arbitrarily deciding my packages were undeliverable, many of the employee pretend that delivering mail is not their problem. My husband had to go there in person three times about receiving his ex-wife's mail. She had submitted a change of address and I had written no longer resident on every piece of her mail for months. My husband explained each time that it was a huge problem, considering she lives twelve hours away. After being told there was nothing they could do for a third time he said that they deliver the mail, there has to be something they could do, he then spoke to someone who actually cared and helped him resolve the issue. My three pieces of advice are to avoid them if possible (I drive to the USPS in Vine Grove), request that Amazon use other delivery services if possible, and keep going up there in person until somebody decides to care. Hope this helps.

Do your own research and don’t go to this branch as all of them are not knowledgeable including the postmaster Bobby Wheatley.
