- HMHal MApr 18, 20261.0The difficulty was not at the Post Office. It was at the community lock box in my part of town. I ordered a part and it was shipped first UPS, then handed over to the USPS. There are fifteen little lock boxes and two parcel lockers in the community lock box. Somehow my part must have gone into the wrong letter box, (it was a tiny box), and I never received it. The difficulty was when I reported it missing, the official response from the United States Postal Service was "You are Out of Luck," (and out of $100 because there's no insurance when the USPS says, "It was delivered." I will now drive 12 miles to ship FedEx before ever trusting the Post Office to serve as my ombudsman.
