They stopped delivering my mail bc of a neighbors yorkie 3 houses down on the opposite side of the street. They stopped bc it was a "safety" risk. Hasn't stopped them from walking through the same area to deliver the mail to surrounding houses. Just not my street. Postmaster handled it all wrong and was combative and not willing to even compromise.
Have to put up a new mailbox 20 feet closer to the rd than my current one.
They make their own rules bc its federal government.

I moved to the area in January 2020, actually an adjacent smaller town and with the COVID-19 have not spent time looking around getting to know my surroundings. (Stay home, stay safe) The small town I live in requires a post office box because there is no mail delivery where I live which is a first for me. I have seen Fedex and UPS deliver in my area, even had some deliveries myself so when these services dropped my packages at the post office and called it "SmartPost", I was clueless why. On two separate occasions that I can recall I had my packages dropped at the Post office, once by UPS and once by Fedex. This is where my packages became delayed. I followed the tracking to see messages like "undeliverable" and went to my local post office to ask why. They directed me to the Morganfield USPS. The person on the phone after a few minutes told me my package was there. I asked where they were located, as I have never seen the post office in Morganfield which she said slowly "MOR-GAN-FIELD". I felt this to be a rude, embarrassing comment. When I arrived at Morganfield USPS, I saw a woman sitting on a stool picking her nails. I told her my name and she retrieved my package but before she gave it to me she began to tell me see, this has no PO box number on it and referred to another person as "she" has to look up the address to know what to do with it. Then she began telling me that I have lived at my address for over a year now and I needed to have my packages addressed correctly because they have to take the time to look them up and the holidays are coming up and they will be returning them to the sender from now on. I do not believe I should have been treating in such a rude hateful manner. Her name was Amanda and I will not be going back to the Morganfield USPS. Customer service is a thing of the past. Arrogance and rude seems to be the ongoing public service.
