Tracking shows it never left the post office where I handed it over. It just sat there. For days. I called repeatedly and got the same useless script: “We’ll submit a service request.” Nothing happened. I went in person and the clerk literally said there was nothing they could do. So USPS loses a package before it even leaves the building, and the official response is “oh well”? Now I’m being told to file a missing package claim — for an item USPS failed to scan, move, or properly handle at the origin. That’s not a mistake. That’s negligence. No accountability. No urgency. No answers. Just endless phone calls, empty promises, and employees who act powerless in their own workplace. If this is the standard, it’s no wonder people avoid USPS whenever possible. Losing a package at drop-off is beyond unacceptable.
