Still haven't received mail that was on my informed delivery 2 weeks ago. When I put mail on my mailbox to go out, they don't come by for 1 to 3 days. I've gone to this location and complained multiple times. Nothing changes. Once the supervisor offered to hold our mail there for us to pick up because my check was 2 weeks late coming. From Frankfort to Lexington. And although we have gone in person and told them three times to stop holding the mail, they still are. We haven't received mail in a week.

I have never had a bad experience at this location. They are usually less busy than other locations in town, and I find the staff helpful. That said, I haven't had special requests or come in near closing as some of the other reviews have stated. But on a normal day with normal postage needs, it is my preferred location.

I am documenting an unacceptable experience with the United States Postal Service that reflects serious institutional failures in professionalism, reliability, and accountability. A piece of standard mail sent from Louisville to Lexington a short, intrastate route took five days to arrive. During that time, I received USPS Informed Delivery notifications indicating the item would arrive on a specific date. The mail did not arrive as stated and instead appeared one day later, with no explanation for the discrepancy. When the letter was ultimately delivered, it arrived in a condition that clearly indicated it had been opened and re-folded prior to delivery. While the contents were present, the altered state of the mail is fundamentally inconsistent with the expectation that mail arrives sealed and intact. What followed was even more concerning. When I sought clarification, USPS employees deflected responsibility to “the system” and displayed an indifferent, dismissive attitude, effectively communicating that the situation was not their concern and that no meaningful explanation or resolution would be offered. This “oh well” posture toward mishandled mail is completely unacceptable for a federal service entrusted with private correspondence.

Idk why they have a phone they don’t answer anyway. Rude in person as well
