Today I had 3 packages delivered to my apartment in which stated they were left in the parcel locker. When I went to retrieve the key to get in to the locker wasn't there. I called the post office and spoke to Jeremy who took my information and drove to my apartment complex to check out the issue. Not but 30/45 minutes later (possibly sooner)Jeremy was at my door with packages in hand and mentioned the key was left in the wrong mailbox. It happens, totally understand! Being from Orlando, FL I can say that if this happened there I would of been SOL, they would of never taken the time to do what Jeremy did. With that being said, I give this location an applause. Thank you so much for making a panicky moment resolve with positive closure.
- APAngela PayerSep 6, 20171.0I've never had such bad postal service, and I've lived in multiple states, cities, and even a township. Issues we've had: 1. The mail truck turns around in our driveway (once they came close to running over my husbands legs as he was under our truck fixing something) even after we asked multiple times that they drive the 20 ft. up to the corner to turn around. 2. Our mail carriers think they are training to be Nascar drivers and speed through the neighborhood (squealing tires and brakes). 3. Last Saturday, I was home and could see the mail being delivered. My husband was outside in full view. The carrier left us a note saying he couldn't deliver an item to us as we weren't home. Really?! It took longer to write up that little form/note than it would have to walk the 10 ft. to our door and knock. I've called to complain to managers, but nothing changes--or if it does, it is because we've taken to chasing down the carriers to impart information (i.e. stop turning around in our driveway). I also don't believe bad reviews like this one make much difference; however, I can't imagine we are the only ones experiencing this. Maybe more people will voice their complaints and then things will change.
