- NWNick WilliamsFeb 12, 20191.0Went to try and mail a firearm legally, was told by front desk worker I could not legally mail a firearm to a FFL dealer. I asked the woman politely to check for me with post master and he said rules had changed and can only be mailed dealer to dealer now. I then drove to Munfordville office told them the same spill and the woman gladly shipped my firearm for me. There was no issues what so ever and she said it was perfectly legal long as I told her what the package contained and it was done express mail with signature confirmation to a licensed FFL DEALER. It's sad to say at the least when it's posted on USPS website how you can properly do something legally but the post master doesn't have a clue what he's talking about. I'm thankful I live closer to the Munfordville location, and if it can be avoided won't be back to horse cave location.
