This is how my mail came today. Another day of stuffing packages into my box and letting mail spill out the other side, or packages protruding out of my box into the street because carrier too lazy to walk to my porch. USPS delivery just keeps going down hill. Wouldn't even give it one star of I could.

It breaks my heart to write this, but silence only protects bad behavior. My daughter, a college student home for the summer, went to the Prospect, KY USPS location to retrieve a package that had been incorrectly placed into collections by Amazon. She followed the instructions provided—bringing her valid ID and tracking information. What should have been a simple visit turned into an upsetting and demeaning experience. From the moment she approached the counter, the postal worker made it clear she wasn’t welcome. No greeting. No kindness. Just a blank, irritated stare as she politely asked for help. He snatched her ID, saw it was from Tennessee, and instantly became aggressive—slamming down papers, refusing to communicate in complete sentences, and making her feel like she was doing something wrong. She explained she lives with her parents right down the street while attending school in Tennessee. Still, he continued to treat her with disrespect and condescension. She remained calm, respectful, and patient—but was met with nothing but hostility. Sadly, the interaction felt racially motivated. As a mother, it’s devastating to know my daughter walked away from a federal facility feeling humiliated, not helped. We expect professionalism from public servants. What she received was the opposite. This is not just about bad customer service. It’s about the kind of environment we allow to exist. This man may not realize how much harm his attitude causes—but that’s no excuse. USPS is supposed to serve everyone, equally. I share this not to shame, but to call for accountability. This isn’t about a single worker—it’s about what we choose to tolerate. We must do better.

I set up an appointment here at 9 to get my passport done and they sent me papers and told me to bring them up here. not once did they ask me to fill them out so when I finally got here which is over an hour drive for me they said hey couldn’t do my appointment today because they had one more appointment after me so I rescheduled and went out to my car and I’m the span of 40 mins only 1 person went into the post office and yet they were “too busy” to let me just fill out my papers and get it made today. It was a complete waste of time and they didn’t tell me what I needed to do.

The worker in there is absolutely so rude. He should be fired if he gets frustrated by every little thing. Very unprofessional
