It did snow quite a lot so I didn't think much about the message I received saying the my porch or mailbox wasn't acceptable. I got a message January 31st then another for a second package on February 1st. February 2nd I received a package on my porch from Amazon and a 2nd package from Walmart. Imagine my surprise when the post office sent me another message saying they still couldn't get to my porch. So I called the 800 number and got an automated system. I have never gotten so frustrated trying to explain that my packages were delayed. The robot kept asking if my package was lost and if I had the tracking number. I tried every way I could think of to tell her my packages weren't lost, I knew exactly where they were and wanted to know when they'd get to where they was suppose to be since my other packages were neatly stacked right beside my door. I got so mad, all I wanted was to talk to somebody. I finally had to hang up before I threw my phone. So I called the post office here in Franklin KY. After calling 4 times straight, a man finally answered. I explained my issue, he was nice and said that they were backed up from not being able to deliver for a few days. To give him time and see if he delivers. When the message came saying he still couldn't get to my porch I tried calling the post office back to see if maybe he'd pull up in front of my apartment and blow the horn then I could go out and get my stuff, after 10 times of me calling them I had to give up.i wanted to get him to understand that I am not able to get out, I don't drive, so I do all of my shopping on line, everything is delivered so I would've come up there and got them but I can't. I have medicine, food, and household supplies in those packages and it's important I have my medicine. If Amazon and Walmart could make the 10 steps to my porch I don't understand why he couldn't. USPS caused me to have a very bad day they really need to do something about that 800 number. I have severe anxiety, I had ti take a pill after fighting with the robot, then the guy in this office not answering my calls. I don't think he likes his job because he wasn't putting any effort into doing it right. I probably won't ever get my mail when I'm supposed to after this, but I know he could get to my porch he didn't want to get out in the cold. They need to try hiring people interested in doing the customer service part of the job.

Why do they never answer the phone? No option leave a message or anything. Not everyone is available to go by there on business days to speak to someone.

I live less than 1/2 mile from my mailbox. For some reason our postal person cannot drive to deliver packages to us or certified mail like our former postal person did. When I explained what was happening at the post office I was told it was up to the individual postal person. The person assigned to our route isn't worth a hill of beans! Something really needs to be done but it's falling on deaf ears.

Being able to ship an eBay package with a QR code was really nice because I do not have access to a printer like I used to.

Delivery drivers will leave your package 6 feet in front of your door to get rained on and not even knock. And trying to get someone's attention in the building is hopeless too.
