Ok so almost a month ago my wife went in to this post office at least it is supposed to be one she was getting a money order for a little over 250 dollars and the woman there was ringing it up at least that’s her story and the “system failed” but it didn’t fail before it took the money out of our bank and my wife shows her that and this woman acts like that’s not what banks do they don’t take money out of your account without it first being in pending she was very rude and not so intelligent so my wife went to the guy that was the I guess he was the post master also not very intelligent but at least when he tried to help he wasn’t a smartass so he lies to her and tells her he will get our money back and my wife was working so she has no choice but to leave and go back to work we have yet to get our money back and I’m about to my limit them stealing that money from us has put us in a very bad spot she should have never had to leave there without the money or the money order it’s that simple how far you think I would have gotten away from there if I came in took 250 dollars and tried to leave I know not far at all but I’m done waiting they have had plenty of time and I want the manager or the boss whoever it is that reads this to take it seriously you will not keep our money my wife has asked me to give you time to get the money back and I have and it shouldn’t have taken a day to get it back we even went to the one here where we live and told them and they acted like they was going to help and did nothing this is so ridiculous the stupidity we have to put up with is unbelievable she showed them the bank statement had the clerk at the bank tell them they took the money out and still nothing

Absolutely zero customer service. You get the sense that the workers don’t want to be there. Felt like my presence there was annoying to them. Service took forever, and when I mentioned I was waiting for a while, I was told I had to be patient and it took even longer. If I could give this place zero stars, I would.

Good luck getting anything accomplished with Thelma. I own 5 cabins here in town but live in louisville. Because my ID doesn’t have my cabin address on it, they won’t give me my mail. They incorrectly tagged my mail as “deliver later” instead of “return to sender” which means it sat on their truck but wouldn’t let me pick it up even though it all had my name on it. Thelma acted like she had no clue where my road was, which is less than a mile from post office and is definitely wide enough for two cars (which is their rule). Fortunately UPS and Fedex have been GREAT! Unfortunately, I don’t get to pick who delivers when ordering off Amazon. Thelma needs to retire!

The worst experience I've ever had at any post office many times. I'll never be back in that place. I'll drive to Jackson or anywhere that go back there. The workers are very rude and do not want to do their jobs and help people. I was going through chemo for stage 3 cancer and had lost around 100 lbs. Because the picture on my license didn't quite look like me because of the weight I had lost in my face they would not cash a money order. Went to Jackson. No problem. I told them to call the police but they didn't want to do that. That's not the only bad story. Not many people in Wolfe county like the place. Oh yeah make sure you take your own pen, tape, and anything else you might need. I couldn't get a 2 inch piece of tape once. Wouldn't bother me if I drove by and the place was gone and shut down.
