I had a package bei g held at post office they charge me 11.30 to pick the package up. I ordered keys for a mailbox and paid $30 and they didnt work. I had to drive 30mins again just to order new keys then 30 mins again to pick them up again. Spoke to a manager he didnt seem to careless that I was being chared all this extra money for their mistakes.

Extremely difficult experience this morning. I sent a package via certified mail from my local post office. As of Dec. 26 it has still not been delivered. My local post office told me I could bring my certified mail receipt and ID to Bowling Green, and retrieve my package. This package contained a check for a large sum of money. The staff at the counter refused to give me my package. My husband and I asked to speak to the postmaster. He refused to come out of his office. We were told repeatedly that we would need to wait until he finished what he was doing. We were then told he was in a conference call. After much persistence, and nearly an hour, he finally authorized the staff to release the package to me. This was a very important check that was mishandled. The fact that the postmaster showed zero concern for us was beyond poor customer service.

The employees here are always friendly and helpful. I was quite impressed recently when my 4 year old granddaughter and I visited the post office to mail a letter to Santa. I did not see the big red box labeled Letters to Santa that I remembered from the past so I asked one of the employees. She was kind enough to go in the back and find a metal box that said “Letters to Santa” on it. It must have required some hunting in the back because we did wait for several minutes. It was well worth the wait judging from the look on my granddaughter‘s face.
